Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor to lead our post-production team and create high-quality video content. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, possesses strong editing skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the post-production process, including editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that meet project objectives and client requirements.
Enhance video quality through color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects.
Develop motion graphics and animation to complement video content.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior editors and freelancers.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in video editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor, with a focus on editing for various platforms (e.g., web, social media, broadcast).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing projects and styles.
Solid understanding of cinematography, composition, and storytelling principles.
Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting project deadlines.
